    If Houston ends up with the first pick (as well as a new coaching staff) and goes to a 4-3 defense Clowney and Watt as bookends would make for some gameplanning headaches.

    Good point, but I still think they're dead set on taking a quarterback.

    Yeah, I was thinking Watt and Clowney as 4-3 DEs.


    Separate topic but I don't like that 1 gap 3-4 shit.

    I still think Clowney isn't anything but an average pro. I watched him play against Clemson and if the play was going away from him he pulled up several times. Not sure if he isn't getting coached or pushed at South Carolina but there is room for improvement

    I haven't seen any one worthy of the overall #1 pick at QB.

    Depends on what you mean. There aren't any Lucks in this draft, certainly, but Bridgewater and Mariota are on par with Newton, Bradford, and Stafford when those three were coming out of college. Then you have Manziel who could end up being Fran Tarkenton 2.0 or a turnover-machine headcase who ends up in jail.

    Don't know that they'll be a 3-4 team in 2014 now that Kubiak has been fired.
