    for the sake of being redundant...

    we just dom'd a hot team on a 3 game win streak, and we did it without any run game, or at least a traditional one. And when our QB threw two picks.

    We shit on them and whipped them when they were down anyway.

    Not bad.

    I think it's 4 of the last five games, D pitched a second half shutout. That's a seriously amazing stat if you think about it.

    You're right! And the Bucs got a garbage TD at the end of the Thursday night game down there.

    here's another one that is pretty amazing. The defense has giving up two TDs in the first half. All year.

    Panthers lead the league with 13 touchdowns allowed all year. Seattle is in 2nd place with 19.
    That's pretty badass

    That's pretty amazing. We're having just an unbelievable year. If this can sustain several more weeks, we're in. I mean...we have a real shot.

    I really think this defense can get better. I'm not a big rankings or stats guy. When you start getting obsessed with rankings, I think you can start seeing things that don't really exist.

    I think with us playing the saints 2x and seattle playing them tonight, those numbers go up a bit.

    Our D outstanding 1st place stats probably won't stand after the 2 games against the saints.

    I hope not, but they score a lot...

    Yardage stuff is unreliable, IMO. A lot of that is situational, like if you're way ahead you give up more yards playing soft, or you don't get as much through the air because you'd rather use more clock and protect the ball.

    Heck, even points. If you are behind you are not gonna take the three, you are gonna need the TD and they are harder to get. Or the inverse, your opponent won't kick the FG, etc.

    So many variables at work.
