Tampa really talked themselves out of a win yesterday by trying to make a fashion statement with Glennon.

And WTF with Freeman watching from a skybox? The Bucs are fucking hilarious.

The State fans here pissed all over Wilson and said that it was his decision to leave, not O'Brien's: http://www.thisboardrocks.com/forum...ue-qb-russell-wilson-2011-fall-season-177606/ & http://www.thisboardrocks.com/forum/f46/wisconsin-wolf-pack-180072/#post2668830 I'm guessing that State fans were even worse about it on their own message boards. O'Brien took shit from Carolina fans over it, but State fans passionately defended him at the time. So yes, N.C. State and its fans turned their back on Russell Wilson.

I really don't care what anybody on this board said about it. Very few on this board, I'd imagine, have much vested in NCSU, much less actually personally know Wilson, O'Brien, Glennon, any of the staff, etc., and you had more grasp than they did on how and what terms Wilson left. Notice, I never even posted in any of those threads.

So a handfull the TBR board 'NCSU fans' are a true representation of real vested 'ncsu fans', really? Whether they turned their backs on Wison, not really knowing a damn thing about it, obviously, has no bearing on anything.

Wilson graduated and has a degree from NCSU. He claims NCSU, so it really doesn't matter does it?

NCSU had 3 starting NFL QB's this past Sunday and next week as well. Nothing changes that from any perspective.

You should be proud, like I am, that a great many of our states' collegiate atheletes are represented greatly accross the board in professional sports, no matter which school they attended. As well as the ACC, of which I highly support as well.

Yes, since State fans elsewhere behaved the same way. If you didn't then kudos on that, but you're the exception. The rest were bashing Wilson and claiming that O'Brien didn't have any choice.

Didn't he just say Wisconsin on his MNF intro last year?

No one is proud of N.C. State. As I said, it's a concrete shithole. I know friends who have gone there and I felt bad that they had to.

no, he always claims "from a whole pack of badgers", you must not pay attention. according to him, he does that because he is proud of both.

I attended both UNC and NCSU and UNC is just as much of a 'shithole', if either are. and the UNC sports venues suck way more than NCSU. If the faculty and students I met/knew while I was having to attend UNC are a true represetation of the character of school at large, UNC is the biggest embarrassment than any school in the Carolinas or ACC. And that would include many of allumni I know and do business with as well.

Are you proud of your cheaters? The overregulated shittown of Chapel Hill? while you're being the stereotyical Tarheel douche.

No, he didn't do that on MNF last season. That was new, so maybe he's now forgiven N.C. State for treating him so badly.

That's hysterically absurd. Chapel Hill is certainly no Charlottesville, but it's vastly better than the NCSU campus and surrounding area.

That part is true. Kudos to Debbie Yow for putting State in huge debt with fancy new facilities the exact same way she drove Maryland near bankruptcy to the point that they had to flee for the Big Ten in a desperate hope of increased revenue.

lol. State fans have such an inferiority complex when it comes to Carolina.

You lost all credibility with this one statement. Kenan Stadium is mentioned by various media outlets as one of the most beautiful stadiums in the nation. Carolina Student-Athlete Center for Excellence", a $70 million expansion that will replace Kenan Field House, which was built in 1927. The entire project was funded by private donations and the selling of club seats and individual suites Funny North Carolina didn't have to go out and get a corporate sponsor for this but State has to share theirs and get corporate help to do it
