    should be the starting QB

he's more accurate, has a better deep ball, reads defenses better

He's terrible. Carolina's offense will look better when it starts utilizing Cam's legs.

If your ready for a ton of "dammit jake" type of shitty passes and prayers. Then start anderson but don't be bitching when he has an average of 2-3 ints per game. He's actually worse than Jake with his blown elbow ligs

He was playing against the 2s and 3s, against vanilla defenses.

He will have to learn to read a defense for the team to have sustainable success. Being mobile is a great asset, but you can't live off that. Have to be able to make a good throw to the right receiver at some point. If he's not capable of that, might as well start looking for his replacement.

Derek Anderson isn't that replacement. Daunte Culpepper had one of the best quarterback seasons in history executing a one-read to checkdown system, and it was with Randy Moss hurt most of that season. I'm all for taking a tough love approach with Cam during the off-season and demanding that he spent that entire time being coached if he wants a long-term deal, but it's hard to improve during the season itself (that's why I've said for years that 1st round quarterbacks should have their own coach and be largely segregated in practice their first year to give them maximum instruction).

3 years in, he looks the same as when he first came here. May as well run him until he drops.
