Only three pass attempts over 10 yards. I'm sure some ofthatnwas Cam trying to take care of the ball, but remind me again why we signed Ted Ginn?

I made a Dungy Buccaneers reference during the game chat.

We still have only 1 WR. As I said in another post, better than I expected, but unexpected very little. And I got it. They must let Newton move and force defenses to react to open field and downfield play. 125 yards is sad. That's worse than many High School teams.

I just went to the Huddle and this is too good not to post:
It is stats from last year's Seattle game with Chud running things and the stats from Sunday with Shula running things.

Now I usually have little use for stats from one game to another, one year to another, and many other scenarios, but am making an exception for this. I'm not saying it proves anything because it doesn't but it's interesting.

It's easy to forget just how bad Cam played in that game last year. Chud wasn't calling for him to miss wide open receivers by ten yards.

I almost feel like that play made everyone forget how awful he was before that. Though that alone is pretty terrible.

I remember folks at the Huddle ripping Hartsock for not "laying out" for the ball. :47:

I do read the Huddle. It's 90% bullshit, but it entertains me. That's why I read it.

    I don't. I'm sure I would have an aneurysm if I did.

And regarding the Seattle comparison, it's worth noting again how many starters the Seahawks were missing this time around. But really, the bigger issue is that this offense looked like ass throughout the preseason. So it's not just one bad game blip, it's that we haven't seen anything good yet. Hopefully that will change on Sunday.
