He's gotten more conservative. I guess that's normal for coaches on the hotseat. I remember him boasting about being aggressive in his introductory presser, back when we were in the Honeymoon phase. I think Hurney getting canned might have shell-shocked him a bit.

In hindsight, we probably should have tried to do something there. Especially after a decent gain on that draw. There was also a 4th and about three inches that we decided to punt on.

 

I swear, I think he's psyche fucked. I truly do. I think he's delicate right now...I'd love to see this man get reckless, because sadly, I think he's such a great defensive mind, I'd love to have his presence here, and see him get pissed off and quit giving a fuck.

Somteimes you just tell your team you believe in them, and its up to them to go get the down, and make something happen. Sometimes, that changes the chemistry of the entire fucking game.

 

Taking less chances minimizes your mistakes, but it also minimizes your ability to make plays. So that's not really getting you anywhere. You can't get laid until you've been rejected.

If I were a coach, I'd have a rule that if it was less than the length of my dick to convert, we'd always go for it. If my team can't convert the length of my cock then I don't deserve to be a head coach in the NFL. This rule would probably be riskier for a guy like Mike Tomlin, but it works out fine for me.
