Would you take Bill Cowher?

  1. Yes. He's a proven coach and he couldn't be worse than Rivera.

  2. No. He's been away from the game for way too long.

I guess my answer is that I would take him under th condition that he loses the ultratan and brings back the ****o mustache from the 90's. I know I didn't include that as an option in the poll, but you can kiss me on the penis.

If he sucked JR would break out a pie chart to show us why his investors would not want to pay two coaches at once.

I'm not crazy about the possible candidates. I'd be ok with Fewell but there's no guarantee that he won't be another Rivera (though I kind of think he'll be a black John Fox, if that's even possible). I also sort of like Greg Roman. An offensive minded HC might be a good change of pace. Don't know what else is out there. Alan Williams, the Vikes DC, is a guy who I think might eventually be a good HC but this is probably too soon for him.

I do think Rivera is finished after this year, even if we make the playoffs. I think it would take an improbable conference championship or SB run for him to get an extension.
