    Anyone's guess, huh?

I have a feeling that might hurt us a bit. Although I'm still pretty fucking excited about the front seven.

Me too, ESPNU just showed Stars Utah V BYU as one of its top 25 games on the year.

I think a Purdue game is coming on next week for those that care to see Short in action.

For all the jizzing about Star pre draft its been very quiet about him since then. Cant wait for preseason to start.

Still cant believe we drafted him. Star and Keek, this D should be fun to watch. Hardy developing nicely, god dammit, im ready for some football.

Long-term it actually makes sense to band-aid a position until you can address it with authority, much like the Panthers strung DT along until hammering it this off-season. If they can address the secondary in that fashion next off-season then the future looks pretty solid. Then again, they need to do the same thing with the offensive line. I've also said in the past that one great player in the secondary can be avoided by the offense, whereas a great defensive lineman should make an impact pretty regularly.

But yeah, a back seven that allowed the highest completion percentage by far and didn't get any better doesn't exactly inspire confidence. We feel better about them than we should because the defense somehow managed to avoid giving up a ton of points, but I still have no idea why they didn't. It's not like they were getting turnovers or even breaking up passes.

Hoping front seven can apply enough pressure so DBS dont have to cover very long

And there's still a bunch of cuckolds back there at safety.

Yeah, I said cuckold again. Deal with it.

I'm actually more worried about safety, I feel like we can slap something together at corner.

I don't worry about anything, but it would be nice to have a non-shitty safety. Mikell would be a decent compliment to Godfrey I guess. Anyone have any fucking idea what's going on with that?

Gettleman is just teasing Rivera with the idea of signing players to actually help before he leaves him to twist in the wind all season.
