That's some weird shit to say.

 

Not at all, if you've ever played team sports, or fought with a group together. There are times when you know someone who can fight their asses off, or play their asses off, are out there, and they give you energy. When things might begin to get dark, seeing them by your side or fighting for you or your crew or whatever, makes you feel more at ease, makes you feel better, and just makes you believe.

 

It's only gay if balls touch.

 

Jeezy Creezy, the media isnt gonna let this go until Cam gets a C.

It'll be Luck is a C, RGIII is a C, Cam isnt a leader.

I have no problem with Cam not getting a C, we have plenty of vets with tenure. At this point they'll give him one just so people will shut up.

His time will come naturally when Gross retires I think, and when he learns to keep his chin up in the face of adversity. The team will look to him for inspiration when we are down, losing and struggling. He needs to learn to display calmness and hold his head high to inspire those around him because he damn well has the raw talent.

I just want him to be a better quarterback, especially in critical situations. He doesn't need to be a leader. Jon Kitna was a "leader", did it fucking matter? No. It would be great but I don't expect that big of a shift in his personality. I'd settle for him not being a 14 year old girl after losses.

 

If the rest of the team embraces your way of thinking, we might as well hang it up this season.

I don't think a team can be successful if they have no faith in their quarterback. Well...at least enough faith to designate them as a team captain.

 

What? I'm not saying Cam has no leadership skills. I'm saying that'll be the medias perception. There are only so many C's to go around. Are they gonna strip Gross or Smitty? I don't think so, that's a slap in the face. Maybe they add a third just so the media will have nothing negative to say.

Lets not pretend that the only guys with leadership qualities are guys with C's on their jerseys. What about Keek? Shouldn't he get one too?

 

Just get it over with give Cam a C his actions have yet to deserve. Surely no one is going to be upset with that.

 

I made myself a captains patch and I wear it around every day. Maybe Cam could resort to that if he doesn't get voted this year.
