Comical how the Bobs fired their coach about 4 hours ago, and there's not even a post about it. Absolutely no interest in this team.

If I`m posting on tbr between 8-5:30 then I`m probably not working.
No one will miss Dunlap because no one really knew Dunlap.

I don't even know his first name.

I really want to be interested in the Bobcats. I lived for the Hornets as a kid and it would be nice to have an NBA team to cheer for again. There's just no sense of direction, organizationally. I don't think it matters who they hire next.

my take is that nobody is going to commit to the team until ownership shows they're committed. there's nothing worse than feeling like you care more about wins and losses than anybody on the team. but that's what happens when you blow things up and rebuild. a team with a record of success can pull that off and people will still cheer cuz they're connected to the team and can reconcile the process with the expected results.

the bobcats had their first taste of winning lke, what, 3 years ago? they blew that team up cuz they didn't want to be a perennial first round exit in the playoffs. well, mission accomplished i guess. they were really not in the position to put fans thru a rebuild. you gotta win a lot more before you eschew short term wins for a long term goal.

This is my view as well. I remember years ago when the Hornets were here, having to go to Ticketmaster at the beach when single games tickets were released (to avoid lines and pray for a good game). Those days are long, long gone. I wouldn't take a free Bobcats ticket.
The franchise is completely incompetent, from top to bottom.

Yep, Per CBS Sports the paperwork has been submitted. It will take 18 months so they say. Unless Jordan opens his wallet and goes after a free agent worth a shit it won't make a difference. Noel from Kentucky seems to be the consensus at #1 (Not that the Hornets/Boobcats would get the pick) and he is coming off injury and a few years away from physically maturing not to mention be a true offensive weapon

The Cats/Hornets have to get some scorers. Maybe the new coach can teach some defense because the old coach and staff couldn`t.
