Yeah. With Stewart constantly dinged and DW coming on strong there at the end, it makes sense to keep him if they're not going to do what I preferred and scorch the earth to clear the books as quickly as possible.

Tom Brady extended through 2017. 27 million split somehow between 2014-2017.
The New England Patriots have agreed to terms with QB Tom Brady on a three-year contract extension that will run through the 2017 season. Brady will receive a $3 million signing bonus and is scheduled to make $7 million in 2015, $8 million in 2016 and $9 million in 2017. Brady was scheduled to count $43.6 million against the salary cap in 2013 and 2014 before the extension but now will count $28.6 million in 2013 and 2014.

NFL.com's Steve Wyche asked Panthers coach Ron Rivera on Tuesday if [steelers WR] Wallace is a target in free agency.

"You're warm, but you know what's going to be interesting is how things unfold once we get to March 12," Rivera said on "NFL AM." "There's a lot of things that are out there that we have to really take into consideration. You know, we'll see how things are going to affect us when we get to the 12th."

I heard the Dolphins want him BAD more so than Jennings which I thought was odd.

On the Brady deal, it actually lowers the average of the top 5 QB contracts by 800,000k that Flacco will be paid when he signs his franchise tender (per NFL radio Pat Kirwan)

We're delusional if we think we can sign Mike Wallace.

I still want to know how the Panthers are going to get down to the cap. Then they can go minimum players shopping.
