RGIII is statistically more accurate. But i thought we already decided that was due to the system they run.

He also threw for like 1000 less yards than Cam. He may be faster but Cam is more elusive IMO.

Plus, we kicked is ass last season.

RG3 is vastly more accurate statistically, but anyone who watches the two can also tell he's much more accurate in general. Cam struggles with accuracy and pretty much every other part of passing except arm strength.

65% versus 60% when the former makes way more dump offs, better OL and running game and actually have a playaction that works.

How many times this year were Smitty or Lafell left wide open downfield?

65.6% (5th) versus 57.7% (30th). And 29.3% of RG3's attempts were more than ten yards as opposed to 37.3%, so it's true that Washington's offense has less of that, but RG3 completed 57.4% of his 11+ yard attempts as opposed to Cam's 49.2%.

Very true. Quite a few times in the playoff game RGIII didn't even see wide open WR down the field. While Cam has made some spectacular plays to Steve Smith and Olsen for long gains.

Of passes thrown 11+ yards in the air that ended up being touchdowns, RG3 has 10 and Cam has 9.

    I was comparing rookie seasons.

Looking at ESPNs splits Cam actually had a higher completion percentage on passes behind the line of scrimmage, 85% versus RGIII 80%, 1-10 is closer at 65.5 to 64 fovoring RGIII, pretty negligable.

What is interesting is RGIII has 7 TD's on deep balls on so very few attempts (reference to wide open receivers after playaction). Cam also threw like 110 more passes in the 11-41 yard range than RGIII

I think RG3 is being overrated by his fans and underrated by his detractors in this thread. I also think Cam is being overrated by his fans and underrated by his detractors in this thread.

    LOL, playaction (cough cough)

But honestly, I like both players and i think their stats would be very similar if they both played in the same system. But there is no doubt in my mind that RGIIIs is more QB friendly.

Im just glad Cams injury wasnt as serious as RGIIIs. I hope he gets better 100% because i want to see them battle it out for years to come and right now Cam leads the series 1-0.
