I imagine one reason Rivera gets another year is because Richardson probably doesn't like any of the names being mentioned.

Pioli steps down in KC. Reid is flexing his muscle getting his guy in there

It would have only been one more year anyway, plus this gives him the chance to interview for the other GM openings. For all the Pioli-bashing, he put a lot of talent on that KC squad.

Other than trading for Matt Cassell and then giving him stupid money what is the beef with Pioli? Not like every GM can't point to something and say WTF was I thinking

Anybody w time have a look into Pioli's work in KC? And I wonder if he'd be considered here at this juncture. Can't imagine so....

Well, PFT is reporting Reid is a Chief. Huh.

Reid still doesn't run the fucking ball. I can't imagine how those amazing backs are going to feel out there now. Maybe a little like ours do here.

Tyson Jackson hasn't really been a hit as the #3 overall pick. Losing Brandon Carr then cutting his relatively well paid replacement midseason. Brady Quinn. Rumors of intelligence agency level paraonoia around the team facilities including wiretapping phones. Hiring Todd Haley. Keeping Crennel onboard.

    Yep.

Those are all indictments against him.

At least the chiefs can save money but not buying any additional coaching apparel. Reid can just wear Romeos hand me downs, they are the same size
