    If you took only his longest three runs from each of the Vikings' 16 games, Peterson would have totaled 1,226 yards. On just those 48 rushes. Which, even if he hadn't carried the ball those other 300 times, he would have ranked ninth in the NFL in rushing.


    i think that should put an end to the AP/Peyton Manning Cy Young debate

    AP has 30% more rushing yards than the next highest back. Peyton Manning didn't lead the NFL in anything. And as noted previously, Denver won its division last season too.

    Fox made a great point about Manning doing it with a new team is what separates him

    He isn't the first QB to switch teams and have success, I can't think of any RB coming back from what happened to AP and being this successful

    Peterson should get it, but Manning will because the media is obsessed with QBs. And Manning is being portrayed as a great liberator from Denver's ugly, playoff winning ways of 2011.
