They have players in place now that make the system go. They didn't have guys on the team last year that could complete a 10 yard out route. They deserve credit for drafting good players and putting them in a position to succeed.

Kirk Cousins does not suck ass. He's the kind of QB Parcells would love.

But yeah, that offense is great for RGIII.

But the bigger story for me is the revival of Shanahans running game.

Terrell Davis - 6th round RB that dominated
Morris - 6th round RB that dominated

The created an entirely new offense for this season, and while we all think Rex Grossman is terrible, the reality is that he did make a Super Bowl. I'm not denying them credit at all, I'm denying that RG3 was anywhere near as impressive as Russell Wilson.

Yeah, he does, which is why I'm going to laugh if Washington can pawn him off on someone for a 1st or 2nd round pick.

I'd caution putting too much on the younger Shanahan. He's had success in this league under his father, and a copy of his father. I don't know he had that much to do with either's success.

Reportedly they worked together to come up with this new offense. It's pretty damned impressive given that neither had ever done anything with the spread.

I agree that Cousins does not "suck ass" at QB. I've seen plenty of suck at QB. Clausen he is not.
