    Coaches coach and players make plays, but is it completely illogical to make any connection at all between Hurney's departure and the improved play on the field of late?

    This is Hurney's roster, and it's 5-9, assuming we don't Jean Van Der Velde this game away.

    made some plays today that don't show up much in this year's narrative. Really, it's not that the O was consistently amazing last year, it beat up on shitty teams and made some big plays on good teams, but never really moved the ball that consistently. Part of that comes with the risk of taking big play chances, but still...either way, got those big plays today and got to cruise to an easy win.

    nice to have a pitch-in defensively from the ends and Davis, too. When was the last time the team had 2 x 10 sack guys? 03?
