It was hard for me to watch closely at the bar, but he didn't jump out as having an incredible game. Was it that good?

    Pretty damn good.

It was fun watching him battle Ryan with the check calls.

Looked like a leader out there, even getting in Gonzos grill I think.

16 tackles I think, very vocal leader, changing up things and directing traffic as Matty Lice changed plays. Considering he's a rookie, and by all accounts a dedicated student of the game, it's exciting to think what may lie ahead.

I was always a fan of Peppers and didn't agree with the taking plays off line of thought, but I do think he isn't as emotionally crazy about the game of football as some. I think basketball will always be his first love. And I think as impressive a player as he is, if football was his true passion, he could be possibly one of the most amazing football players ever. Not to say he isn't damn good, I just think more of an emotional drive to be more could elevate him with his physical abilities.

Incidently, both Hardy and CJ currently ahead of Pep in both tackles and sacks.

he did have that. Reminded me of Beason there.

I don't recall seeing him more than average this week. It's nutty he got 16 tackles in a game with 12 runs, because he's struggled in coverage. But, unlike the Eagles game, spreading the defense out and trying to block him with a guard didn't leave gaping hopes against Atlanta. He's still got a ways to go in some respects but he diagnoses well and gets there.

I mean, the Falcons ran exactly 60 plays, so Kuechly made the tackle or assist in 1/4 of those plays. And that's with the ball in the air 80% of the time.
