Ken Whisenhunt

Was listening to WFNZ today, they were talking about him as a HC candidate, assuming he gets let go (AZ would be dumb to do so, it' s so clearly obvious to anyone who pays attention they don't have a competent QB).

I would be ok with this, he's been successful in this league, especially during the one time he had a competent QB (Warner). I realize there is some push for Chip Kelly, but I don't see it here (although I've been surprised before). So I'm looking at what else there is, and if this is one, I'd be good with it. What do you guys think?

 

I would be more than ok with Whiz, so long as he is not an integral part of the personnel decisions.

I would be very ok if the entire Arizona staff was fired, and Bill Cowher rounded them up for a little fun in Charlotte.

 

Whiz is an offensive guy: their OL still sucks*, the one good QB they've had is going to get HoF consideration and was there when he was hired, the QB he was hired to develop when he got there is long gone and these are all his QBs sucking dick out there.

Obviously coming here the situation is different but let's not make Whisenhunt into some victim of circumstance.

I gotta say, I worry about handing Cam a whole new offense to learn whoever the HC is.

 

Isn't Whisenhunt the one who keeps picking those shitty QBs? He's like a very poor man's Gruden. No thank you.

 

TBW, is the Cam hate so bad now that you're trying to get coaches in here that will play Derek Anderson?

 

I'm not a big fan of Fewell, but you never know.

I do like Ross a lot, obviously.



I don't like Whiz. If he were here as an assistant, I'd think that was fine, and Horton's got some talent as a defensive coach though the results aren't there as DC.

But, either way, good call in that I hadn't considered that staff, and clearly they won't make it another year.

 

I dont think hiring a HC off a losing team is the way to get the fanbase excited. Highly doubt Jerry would have the balls to do that.

Fewell would match the Fox hire very closely.

Other than either of the 2 kellys, Shaw or Saban, im hoping Jerry can convince a former SB winner out of retirement.

 

I'm hoping Jerry will have nothing to do w hiring the coach once the consultant picks his GM
