Can`t blame those numbers on the receivers. His concentration on the short throws is nonexistent. Over, behind, too much lead, grounders are the norm on short routes.

Coach up his technique. Playing won't fix them.

It wasn't anything close to perfect. You said something stupid, so just let it go. And most of training camp isn't spent on technique so much as becoming familiar with that season's scheme.

Hardy was a monster, but a lot of that has to do with Chicago's OL being perpetually atrocious. Next season, I'd like him to be the backup to Johnson at LDE and then slide inside to DT for passing situations.

Let's not pretend that your idea of taking out Cam is any less dumb.

Taking a QB out of the lineup to have him work on things is something a lot of teams have done over the years. Look, I get it. You said something stupid and therefore you're feeling defensive about that, but you need to learn to walk away instead of making things worse by trying to pretend like what you said wasn't dumb or that someone else's valid statement was somehow as dumb as yours.

if it works out that way, but there are bigger needs.
At this point I think both could one-gap a 3-4 about as well as anything else, which still adds a rusher.

How about giving examples? Josh Freeman struggled last year, but TB stuck it out with him. Do you think they regret that decision now?

How about Rivera just move up the whole practice squad so our DBs can work on there technique. Shit. Why not forfeit the next few games so the whole team can have practice sessions on technique.

    Yes. Great idea.

still prefer him to get reps. Backup QBs get about 10-20% of the snaps in practice during the season, and with the post-CBA rules there aren't a lot of snaps to begin with.

There are some things I don't get about the offense. Rivera and co wanted to get Stewart the hot hand but when he came out often he was often spelled by Tolbert and not Williams. Granted Fatty had some nice moves but Williams is a better runner.
Also, and Johnson harped on this some, why are we not using more two TE's. I'd rather Barnidge out there than Murphy. We seemed to have success with double TE's.
