He's just a young kid showing frustration IMO. Its tough, everyone thinks he should have all the answers and solve all the problems. But the truth is he cant actually come out and speak how he truly feels about the situation. He has to be PC about the whole thing.

I know everyone wants him to be level headed all the time and be super mature and to always be able to say the right thing.

Honestly as bad as things are right now i dont believe we should be throwing him out to the wolves after every loss. Players dont need to be facing media scrutiny after a loss. Its the coaches that should be stepping up in those situations, they should be shouldering the burden.

Its not like he's out there throwing 3 picks a game and being Clausenesque.

It's not even that. The pressure and stress that comes from facing the media after a loss reveals character. So does how he conducts himself during a game where he's playing poorly. In all of those instances he has shown a sullen attitude instead of leadership. Cam just doesn't have it. He could end up being a very good quarterback, but he's always going to be a shitty leader.

I think they're required to appear by the NFL if requested by the press pool.

I agree. And that's just what we see, no doubt there's stuff going on that we don't and the locker room does. Just one example that we do know about, Olsen tried to console him after a loss and he was rebuked.

It's pretty obvious Cam is a Me Me Me guy. I don't see him leading a winning team unless he gets back to work on his game, hard, and does a complete 180 with his attitude.

Also, if he's going to be giggling with Deion and running to the spotlight during the good times, he may have to take the heat when things go wrong. Welcome to being a starting quarterback.

I dont want to sound like im a Cam homer constantly defending him.
I realise he has made some bone headed plays that have directly contributed to some of our loses.

But i dont remember anyone talking shit about the Superman pose shit last year or the towel thing (which he admitted he got from Jordan).

It seems pretty obvious to me that playcalling/scheme has been the real issue at hand and he is not our only player to see his stats/play suffer from it.

I just wonder how many more weeks of losing it'll take before people start suggesting we trade him for whatever we can get and start over with Barkley. Or how long it'll take Skin fans to turn on RGIII and tell him to stop with the socks and armband shit.

Cam will be a pretty damn good player, and he will possibly be great before his playing days have ended. :acclaim: Who cares about a towel on his head or his demeanor at a press conference, I like that he hates to lose and works to get better. Now if this organization can figure out how to put the pieces together remains to be seen.
