I'd say Jets, Chiefs, Bills are equal or worse.

I think KC and Buffalo have actually built pretty good rosters, but just fucked it up by overpaying mediocre QBs. I also think Crennel is a really shitty head coach. So is Gailey to a lesser extent.

On the plus side, if Hurney had taken Gabbert then there's a pretty good chance I would have murdered him. So the Panthers would have a better GM and I wouldn't get to post. Win-win.

A bit slow for a WR but i get your point. Talking WR here.

Lets hope we get a few more wins this season.

Is he really that good? It seems a first round DT just doesn't help, even if the guy isn't a bust, ala Marcell Dareus.

I could see it more if we had decided to switch to a 3-4, and were looking for the plug in the middle, then it absolutely makes sense.

Ndamukong Suh, B.J. Raji, and Haloti Ngata didn't help?

Actually the opposite is true. It would make much less sense to spend a high pick at DT in a 3-4 because the NT almost always has two-gap responsibilities, which means he needs to be strong and hold the point while not really doing much against the pass.

I would argue that Suh and Raji haven't really improved their teams noticeably. Green Bay had one of the worst defenses in the league 2 years ago when they won it all, they just outscored everyone and got hot at the right time. The Lions just can't get their shit together, and Suh's character concerns don't help the situation.

I won't argue against Ngata though, best DT in the league for my money.
