He has the suck all game, and no one has really mentioned it. A lot of the Jap's problems would've been helped had Beason done his job. Don't get me wrong, the Jap sucked, but Beason 's poor play needs to be pointed out as well. I'm betting he's not on the team next year.

the missed tackles are weird. I could see him being less rangy in coverage for now, something the team still hasn't addressed with more Kuechly, and didn't feel like Davis played all that much (could be wrong). But he should be able to tackle a little better.

I think his shoulder is hurt.

Either way, hurt or sucking, he's hurting the team with his arm tackles.

Beason's shoulder isn't 100%. Along with his knee I guess. Davis also nursing his leg. Tough to know if a second string guy is better than a starter who isn't near 100% but we might find out soon enough.

    edit: or what bam said.

A lot of people have mentioned it. It's too bad they're committed to the farce of Kuechly at WLB because he could be playing middle and let Beason work himself back in more slowly. Some guys never regain their explosiveness after Achilles surgery, and it makes sense that Beason would be struggling to find a way to play without it.

I've reached the point, that I think they should be doing a consistent 3 man rotation with Beason, Davis and Keuchly. Combos of Davis with Keuchly at Mike and Beason with Keuchly at will and the old standby of Davis and Beason. Let Anderson hold strong for pretty much the whole time. Of course spell him for normal rests, but he wouldn't be effected by the rotation.

Would like more subbing too but it's kind of a lot for the rook to learn, I think. Not like he's totally acclimated to the one position yet.

Agreed. Not people come back anywhere close after an Achilles injury

Beason has never been a great LB... And he is past his prime, I don't know if there is a player on the team who works harder at being better... but Gamble has been sucking ass for years, you want to talk about can't tackle, can't cover

Beason is pretty far down the list if you want to start listing problems on the team
