    Good damn day. Football.

I don't know if Houston's offense is 100 percent. In any case, want to see Munnerlyn make a play. Also, Applewhite. I'm a fan, and looking forward to seeing him in multiple alignments.

Defensive line play. I can't figure out why Keiser is listed as 4th on the depth chart. Dude was a bright spot last year and they were able to move him around.

I want to see how effective Tolbert will be as a lead blocker.

Also curious about how much Olsen and Barnidge will be asked to block and if they can be effective blocking. We know they can run routes and catch.

It's tough to say there are guys as talented as he is, that have experience with the QB, but there are guys behind him that can be pretty good. I think Brandon's earned his, the guys vying for 3 haven't distinguished themselves enough yet to say they're the 3 guy, much less the 2.

But, up to now all we have to go on is a tweet here and there from a sportswriter who happened to look up. I have to imagine there are people who read that stuff that legitimately think Jared Green could be our #3. Live action might be deceptive - preseason is littered with kids from our past who people thought were going to be starters - but at least it's more than 140 characters.

on both of these - lots of guys here we've never seen here before, haven't seen since camp, or never got a camp last year. That'll be fascinating. Applewhite was a bit player behind two ends that played a lot of snaps, same for Keiser. Neither were here this time last year - when we thought it might be Norwood or Brown starting (ugh). Now those guys are in the mix with the rookie, and we haven't heard much out of Norwood again.

I don't know if Barnidge can ever get low enough to block well.

Gunner on the left side of that first punt crashed down way too early, which opened up the return. Good hustle by 58 to prevent something bid.'

Cam stared down LaFell on 3rd.

    Godfrey still sucks monster cock.

    Kuechly looks slow.

    Black endzones look awful.

Nice stop from the defense. Stopping a petty experienced offense, getting their feet under them.
