SPARTANBURG, S.C. – After 24 hours off, the Panthers were back at it Wednesday night, throwing and catching the skin of a dead pig and homoeroticly rubbing up against each other.

Rivera was pleased with the first and second team offense's hurry-up effort in the two-minute drill, but noted that the team still has no fucking depth at cornerback or on the defensive line.

"You could tell they fucking suck just as much as last year, but it was good work," Rivera said. "Guys really worked hard and gave great effort, so I'm real excited about having another terrible defensive ranking. I should have stayed in San Diego."

Rivera said the health of his young corners early on in camp has been concerning, especially with so much shit around them.

"(I'm) real concerned. The young guys, you expect them to be shitty but then you take a couple of steps back because they actually know how to cover," he said. "You'd expect them to get their ass beat consistently like a Darius Butler; in fact, they've got to get back on the field because the other guys are getting reps and it's hard to watch. That's the bottom line."

"It's unfortunate that they got nicked, but at the same time you've got a black cat as your mascot, so what do you fucking expect?"

In their absence, Rivera said several corners have filled in.

"Guys who wouldn't make most NFL rosters, but have a good shot here," said Rivera.

Additionally, Rivera noted the horrendous fucking play of his interior defensive line, a hallmark of his rookie season as Panthers head coach.

"It's everything I expected and then some. We've actually gotten noticeably shittier with old ass Ron Edwards plugged in there. It's ok though cuz Superman is our quarterback."
