I just read at kffl owners want to mike up a few players during the game so with a phone app you can listen in. I'm sure the app will cost but might be fun to listen to

I can't imagine that the players would go for that.

Problem is they'll try to mike up guys that will give boring material. I'd love to hear Jay Cutler trash playcalls he doesn't like or Jared Allen talking shit all game. Instead you'll get Tebow leading prayers for 3 hours.

during or after the games? you would be able to hear play calls if you could hear the huddle.

Exactly. I cannot imagine the NFL signing off on that, which they would need to do.

Other changes coming wi-fi in all stadiums, the same replayed on tv will be shown on jumbotrons. Green Bay is getting huge jumbotrons in preparation to this. Blackout rules are getting softened as well

It's a pretty cool idea. I've only been to one game since 2009, in large part because the home viewing experience is now pretty much on par with actually being there (and much fucking cheaper if you live in another state, even though I'm rich). They'll have to start trying shit like this to draw fans back in.

My only concern is that the league will start fining football players for cursing. And having them mic'd up live will make spying/cheating about as hard as chewing gum while walking.
