    It only means somebody thought highly of him. Just like Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf. I thought I saw somebody calling Alexander a late 1st to 2nd round talent, but that might have been Hurney.

    Or someone on this board. I didn't see Alexander listed higher than 4th, and most had him 5th to undrafted, although some of that was undoubtedly the medical concerns that seem to be unfounded.

    Hey, I'd rather have Alexander where we took him than E Brown where we took him. I do believe he can contribute some to the rotation at least.

    As far as defense, we're gonna have to score some points again this year.

    Yeah, Frank should be a fine player, but I still think they need another legitimate starter at DE instead of trying to make do with a bunch of backup-types.

    If we had a solid corner to line up across from Gamble then I would feel a lot better about the whole thing.

    Maybe because none of them will be any good, but I still doubt it. Linebacker looks good, but Charles Johnson is the only guy on the defensive line worth a crap and the same can be said for Chris Gamble in the secondary.
