Went looking for some info on DJ and came up empty.

Amazing we didn't take Dennard with a 7th. Low risk for a potential solid player at a major position of need. We're not the only team passing him up though.

You want your team to have full fucking safety, incomplete fucking safety puts your players in danger or Cromartie or Magic Johnson situation.

Lean, athletic one year starter with good closing speed and experience on STs. Lacks starter eyes and instincts and struggles in the box but could provide depth as a back half defender in C2 scheme

We're passing on Dennard like everybody else because he's not talented enough to overcome assaulting a cop.

The safety was drafted for special teams.

with multiple golden bears on the coaching staff, I was wondering if they'd taken any particular interest in any current golden bears. Was hoping for Trevor Guyton. Oh well.

Dennard was said to be a 2nd round talent. Analysts thought the incident might drop him to the 4th round.

It's not like he walked up and punched a cop in the face. He was in a bar fight. The cop that got punched was trying to break it up. The officer did not require any medical attention, so it's not like Dennard went all "Steve Smith" on him.

The kid was in a club at 2am when he should have been at home. No doubt he should have been at home. But everyone makes mistakes, and Dennard could help us.

Looks like the Pats got him. They get it.
