I have a lot of hope for Gettis. He looked promising when Jimmy Clausen was QB, no telling what he'll look like with Cam. LaFell looked pretty good at times last season too, but his ceiling is lower than Gettis IMO.

Never really been a wide-open offense except the Beuerlein years and maybe last season, and that's the type of passing attack you need to get multiple wideouts consistently involved. I'd love to get Blackmon, and I wouldn't jump off a building if they picked Floyd (although he would definitely be a reach), but it's just not a big need given that LaFell and others are competent enough to contribute.

If the NFL has truly become a passing game we should see an increased value in WR's.

Used to be you didnt want one in round 1. They take 3 years to develop (Lafell and Gettis entering year 3).

Im praying we see value at #40 in Wright, Sanu or Jeffery

Getting Kendall Wright at #40 would be beautiful, but highly unlikely. I don't want any part of Sanu or Jeffery.

Agree, but Wright will never make it out of the first. For second round prospects, I actually like Chris Givens more than the "conventional" second round guys like Sanu and Jeffrey. He'd give us a return guy as well.
