we agree there. I would've anticipated more. I don't think that's the product they wanted to put on the field, however. Either way, I don't think it's realistic to expect that they're trying to get most of their pressure from just ends.

I've suggested we could use Coples, but that he's not the type guy I want. Then I talked about how I wanted more of an athletic edge rusher that would better fit the outside of our defense, and have even suggested some LB types that could fill that void in lieu of there actually being a good, athletic edge rusher that can play in space. I've suggested that Williams would be a great help, but that we wouldn't be able to do any other improving and that "there were larger needs". Outside of actually having the "larger needs" argument in two threads, it does suggest that DE is a need, which is directly opposite "DE is fine". Again, something you would've lost your mind about. I'm fine, but that's an incorrect statement.

at what point, again, did I say we were "fine" or that we didn't need an end? Hell, three of them include adding a player. If you're expecting that there's no gray area between "we can use nothing at all" and "we absolutely must trade for Houston's franchise player", I don't know what to say.

It really is fun to watch you try to argue against your own quotes.

and yet it doesn't work. You selectively parsed out where I had actually mentioned starters- even a big name or two. You seem to miss that your quotes have me actually wanting players in most of those quotes. Which makes "fine" a huge lie.

If you say a position isn't a big need and only requires adding a "role player," then clearly you think that position is fine. Play the semantics game all you want, but I posted your quotes. I didn't make them up, you posted that of your own free will. Feel free to argue against yourself all you want.

fine, to me, says we're fine as-is. I would say that the options I've given, while not nuclear, are improvements. Improvements are not "fine", and you lied when you said that.

I suggested three starters, two of them pretty big names, because I don't want to add anything at defensive end. Which is awesome.
