    Chicago is 25th in total Defense and we are 26th. Chi is giving up 369.1 ypg and we are giving up 370.1.

    Unless Chicago's other 10 D starters are significantly better than our "other 10".....

    So no. I don't.

    we would be worse with peppers here... He'd still suck and would have eat up too much cap

    That's just stupid. Peppers is an elite player, and having him paired with Charles Johnson would help the defense tremendously. Meanwhile Hurney took that cap space he got from letting Peppers walk then spent it and more on Olindo Mare, Thomas Davis, Charles Godfrey, and DeAngelo Williams.
