Fox was 1-4 until Tebow was forced on him.

    What Collin said, x10.

Fox stuck with players way past their prime, he and his staff couldn't or wouldn't adjust, and his teams, while competitive, either played up or down to the opponent. Not once did any of his teams have a kick-your-ass style of play.

And yes, when he got here he did stress toughness. That attitude slowly eroded to the point of crappy tackling and arm tackles. Not much better than what we have right now, but I am giving Rivera a little more time to develop the team's personality before I write him off.

All the stuff about Fox is true. That doesn't change the fact that Fox>Rivera.

Sure, especially since Rivera hasn't taken a team to the Super Bowl, but Fox and the team both needed a change.

I don\'t think a coach can \"teach\" a NFL player to tackle. they should have that down by now. Most of the players we have just lack effort. We\'ve lead the NFL in missed arm tackling like 5 years now lol

I can't argue that, regardless of coaching ability, Fox had grown old. Needed that 'shiny new toy' I guess.
