I hate to say it, but I'd give him a look. We have nothing to lose, and he has everything to lose.

I'd roll the dice on him. Correct me if I'm wrong, be Fat Albert has and forever will be a 1-gap penetrator (he's no Ted Washington), so I'm not surprised he didnt work out in New England since they use so much 2-gap. That dude is a force when he's in shape AND inspired, and while that form may never be seen from again, he will be able to help against the run at the very least. We wont get him for much cheaper than he is right now. Charlotte would be a similar situation to Nashville, he'd be more comfortable here (being he's a Tennessee Volunteer & Titan alum), and we certainly have the need given how soft we are up the middle. Our locker room is in no trouble, either. Not even a concern. Rivera would kick his ass to the curb so fast your head would spin if it ever came to that, I have no doubt, and Smitty would likely knock his ass out if he got too out of hand.

ETA: More regarding the locker room, Haynesworth likely needs the right coach who can motivate him. Not sure Hoodie is the right guy for that, but Fisher clearly got the most of out him. A lot of those Titans still love Fisher. I could see Rivera having that same effect on Haynesworth. Albert would respect not just his defensive resume and expertise, but his attacking mentality.

The promise of a big payday motivated him more than Fisher.

very true. And shame doesnt seem to either, apparently. I'd still make the waiver claim, though.

Our run defense is bad enough as it is. Our entire defense stinks enough. But the one thing we have, is the mentality to stay together, and not start bickering from the inside. THe only hope we have is the chemistry that the coaches are trying to develop. One thing I like about McDermott is that he doesn't leave his guys out to dry, and is always positive.

    Chemistry.

    Don't sign Haynesworth.

The talent is worth the look... but nobody picking up Randy Moss or Terrell Owens either...

waiver claim... means we get his contract? What is it?
