Seems like when you can pressure Brady up the gut it messes with his timing. NYG (and I was only half watching the game) seemed like they brought an extra guy or two on almost every play, and their DL made an effort to get in Bradys face.

"Normal compliment"? Who would they be? A 5'8" slot receiver who nobody wanted before Brady made him a star? His 5'9" 33 year old wide out Branch? No deep threat, Ochocinco and his 9 catches this season and a 2nd year tight end? Yeah, he's loaded with the talent there.

Eli got was also bailed out by two PI calls including one setting up the winning score. Both committed by different undrafted free agent defensive backs who have no business being in an NFL uniform. That's how bad the NE secondary is. They start multiple practice squad players.

Ochocinco was one of the greatest receivers in the NFL before he had Tom Brady throwing to him. BRady is going to ruin his career just like he ruined Moss's.

No one complains about Brady's receivers when he wins.

Damn Pi, you just recited the second hour of "The Herd." What do YOU think about the Patriots?

I think the problem with the Pats is arrogance. Belichick has started to believe he is a genius, but really he just has a great QB. He's failed to put a good defense on the field for the past few years and the running game has been mediocre at best for a while. The Pats do accumulate a ton of draft picks, but how many stick, or become impact players? Maybe I'm still sour about them beating us in the Superbowl, but I can't stand them.

I'd agree, but they've had 10 consecutive winning seasons, including one without Brady. I think he knows what he's doing. I will say that he's made a few odd personnel decisions. Ochocinco and Haynesworth are two that immediately come to mind, but there's been a few others. Nobody's perfect.

I just stated facts and can't help it if someone on Cowherds show can see the obvious. I didn't know anyone listened to Cowherd...so you're the guy.
