Very surprised to see Eli Manning out play Tom Brady without his favorite receiver and no Bradshaw.
Phillip Rivers tried to give away the game early but fought to make it close in their loss to the Pack. For the record I don't see anyone beating the Packers again,
Falcons looked nice in their game verses Indy

Eli didn't outplay Tom Brady. [IMG] Eli was actually pretty awful, and the Patriots dropped what should have been an easy interception on that last drive when Manning threw up a wounded duck off his back foot when he got pressured up the middle. That pass reminded me so, so much of Jake.

I wonder when Rivers got AIDS.

That was a pretty baller win by John Fox. 31-7 in the second half. He still sounds awfully disenchanted with Tebow, though.

Tony Sparano rubbed his fat cock into Todd Haley's beard. Good for him. I hope he wins enough games to fuck things up for Stephen Ross.

Watching the ESPN guys fawn all over Eli today is disgusting. If Ballard hadn't made some great catches on that last drive, they'd be talking about how Eli failed. He completed 51% of his passes against the worst pass defense in the NFL.

It's only "news" because of Eli's comments preseason that he is an elite top-5 QB.

Ok Eli sucked a tad less than Brady 77.9-75.4 QB rating since that's your stat of choice. More yards passing for Brady (on 10-15 more attempts mind you) but since he had his normal complement of receivers and running backs it IMO made what Manning do more impressive. Granted Eli is no elite QB but the come back was Brady-like

When Brady leads a comeback, he makes accurate throws and looks almost like a surgeon. When Eli leads a comeback, he throws shit up for grabs and hopes one of his guys makes the catch. I will agree with you that Tom wasn't on his game yesterday, though. NYG seems to have his number.
