Yeah, he'd be a good addition even though he's a little old. The two year deal he signed ends this season.

Neither Edwards or Fua are under tackles. As mentioned above, I'd be fine with playing someone like that at under and sacrificing penetration, but it would take a philosophy change.

not saying you're wrong... just saying what I think they'll do.

Well, it didn't seem like you knew that neither player is an under tackle. Most fans just think all defensive tackles are the same.

Darius + Dalton >> Cam. That would have been the best scenario.

I sure do love watching Cam play, though.

True. However you choose to slice it, the Panthers would be better off with that 2nd round pick. I think that trade is what forced me out of Panther fandom. You can't keep supporting a team that makes masochistic decisions every offseason.

This made me look at what DT Carolina could have taken at #33, but there really wasn't anything available. Stephen Paea was there, but Chicago has only bothered to make him active in two games this season. Ras-I Dowling would have been nice, but there's not really anyone else in the second round it killed me to miss out on. In the hypothetical, I guess I would have taken a shot at Bowers or Rudolph if Dowling wasn't there. That said, it still pisses me off that the Panthers took McClain instead of Drake Nevis. Admittedly I haven't watched Indy outside of that Monday night game, but he looked pretty good against the Steelers.

I thought the Panthers should have taken Patrick Peterson.

That was another jaw dropper. Hurney must get laughed at by the normal GM's.

Byron Bell has a future at G. Maybe a decent one. But still can't neglect the line. Looks like some decent OTs out there like Kalil. Or maybe we go OL in 2nd. Hard to see them making a move at DT if Edwards comes back healthy. I thought we should have kept Landri. I'd rather have him out there at the 3 technique than McClain.

Agree with Collin that Blackmon could be the next great WR. The little bit I've seen of him, and thinking about him joining Smitty, Olson and Shockey almost gets me aroused.

What does the CB FA class look like?
