Yeah... Cam over Dalton... all day along. Carolina could be 4-1 and against better teams just as easy as Cincy is 3-2.

Having a system & a coaching staff in place has helped Cincy overall... but yeah, Cam easily over Dalton.

Do you think Dalton is up for Pro Bowl consideration? I think Cam is a lock for the Pro Bowl...

Dalton & Von Miller would be up for debate for 2nd

a lock for the pro bowl after five games? take away the first two and people would be calling him a monumental bust.

Since the question is "who is the best player" it has to be Cam. He'll be in the Pro-Bowl, if he continues to play at this level, even if he only wins 1 game.

If by "current level" you mean the last three games, he most definitely should not make it. Rodgers, Brees, Manning and Stafford are having much better seasons. It's not even debatable. If he makes it, it will be because (A) they name five or six QBs or the pro bowl, or (B) he's brown.

From what I can tell, Cinci's D is playing pretty well. I haven't seen theirs but I've seen ours.

    Total yards:

Vs rush they are 8th, we are 27th.

Vs Pass they are 8th we are 15th.

Ppg: they are 6 (18.8) we are tied for 26 (26.4)

Third down conversions they are allowing 33.3% (8th), we allow 43.1% (22nd).

They've played Clev, Den, SF, Buf, Jax.

edit: I could give a shit whether or not he gets individual awards but he's making a positive impact here.

He's a highlight reel, look at how much love he's getting in the national media. Michael Vick made Pro Bowls based on highlights, I see Cam doing the same.

good point... but Cam makes the Pro Bowl... Stafford will be lucky to finish the season, Cam goes over Eli. Rodgers will prob be in the Super Bowl again, so he won't be in the Pro Bowl. Also don't forget how they make the Pro Bowl and the voting...

Rookie of the Week last week, I think the only week he wasn't nominated was the win.

Actually, Cincinnati's opponents have a 12-12 record while Carolina's opponents have a 13-12 record, so there's not much difference. Meanwhile the Bengals have won two more games than the Panthers.

Don't be absurd; Cam has no chance whatsoever at the Pro Bowl. Aaron Rodgers & Drew Brees are obviously going, so Cam would have to beat out Stafford, Ryan, Vick, Manning, Romo, and everyone else for the third spot. That's not going to happen.

Except that Vick is a much, much better player.
