I thought he was absolutely the wrong pick for this franchise. For all of the logical reasons. And I watched him play at auburn. Nobody outside of meatpile and auburn fans ever expected this to work out. And I'm not so sure meatpile's outlier stance wasnt just a contrarian ploy that grew more resolute as the cam-bashers came out of the woodwork.

But, my mind has changed. You can't argue with results. He has energized the fanbase like no single pick, coach or free-agent could have. He brought steve smith back to life, for goodness sake. And getting him those two tight ends? Brilliant move.

O-line, young stud at WR and defense - that's the 2012 draft. Future looks brighter faster than I ever thought possible. More important, the players believe it, too.

It was fun being at camp, in the ropes, and seeing it play out. Always thought Cam could do what he's doing now, based on his velocity and height alone. He's exceeded my expectations in terms of poise.

But...as it's been documented....not enough drives "finishing" deep in the red zone. He has to improve on that, and I suppose he will.

16th in QB rating, 20th in Total QBR. Cam is a great fantasy football quarterback.
