Other than letting Newton sling it, what has Rivera done that has been better than Fox? The defense is worse, special teams are worse, the running game is much worse.

 

With Fox, I am not convinced we would've...

1- even drafted Newton (had it been up to Fox),
2- at least our playcalling this year IS throwing the ball downfield, not sideways,
3- if we get down to the 5, we are actually trying for TDs (even if Cam is trying to do too much on his own), where in the past Fox would settle for field goals.

Keep in mind, Rivera had no control over Beason and Davis going down with injuries. Our special teams DO need work, but I'm not convinced they wouldve been any better with Fox.

We are a different team this year period. All the pieces are there for the run game to come around, hopefully it will.

 

1st off he helped decide to draft cam, something fox would've never wanted to do. He actually allowed cam to start the season rather than bring in a cast off fucktard. He's never said a punt is a good play. They dont try 2 runs and a 3rd and long draw play. He doesn't chew gum and clap his hands after a crappy ass 3 and out. Chico actually says something in the presser that isnt a verbal barrage of bullshit. The running game sucked last year. The defense does suck more this year, injuries and the lack of FA pick ups hurts. The reality of the league is now you must have a high caliber QB to win. By all appearances, cam is on his way there. Foxs best was good Jake, cam has the potential to be the best QB we ever had. That's something that takes guts to go out and get. Fox is too conservative to win in today's NFL. Look at how Aaron Rodgers raped the Broncos yesterday. He did everything but put his cock in foxs face and slap it around. That offensive model is what we're shooting for. Green Bay took a chance and drafted him and maintained an offense around him bringing in fresh talent. If you wanna see three yards and a cloud of dust get Sunday ticket and watch the broncos lose. I'll take Chico.

 

If Fox was still here there would be a whole lot of booing going on.
