CUrious as to how the STs guys want to explain if we lose this one, how 2 out of the last 4 games we've played have been blown on special teams TD returns.

And the other two groups, how penalties have been destroying us on both sides all season long.

 

Baker has just been garbage today.

what the fuck was that last play call on offense??????? what the fuck was that last 10 play calls on offense?????

 

Yet another game we had a chance to win and didn't. It's not ok anymore to pat ourselves on the back. That's passed us by.

It's time to figure out how to win these games, and for the STs coach to answer for this bullshit, and for us to figure out how to stop making mistakes the entire game long. No more. This is unacceptable.

Feels like we had to work hard to lose this game. Miss FG, have one blocked, give up pick 6, give up punt return for TD, give up big kickoff return to set up TD, and continue to give up big gains on the ground.

When your only lead was 3-0 in the 1st quarter, I don't think you can say you gave the game away. I get what you're saying, but the better phrasing would be that the Panthers could have won if they had played better. Chicago would have made different offensive calls if their special teams hadn't contributed to the big lead, and they probably would have done some things differently on defense. It's also worth noting that there were several times Newton should have been intercepted but the pass was dropped, and chances for Chicago to get bigger gains on offense. Both teams had missed opportunities. This doesn't feel, to me at least, like a game the Panthers should have won.

 

I'm still enjoying (gritting teeth) more then last year when we had no chance and were never in most games, but take away the stupid today and we win, maybe BIG.
