Does anyone really think things are going to be any better with Rivera?

I believe Ron Rivera will do a superb job in Charlotte.

As John Fox did the best with what he had to work with... how that work out for him?

Don't expect too many wins until the roster is revamped, which could take a couple of seasons. We lack NFL-quality players at a lot of positions, including D-line and O-line which is where games are won (the trenches).

I think Rivera is a step towards 21st century football, where Fox was stuck in the "3 yards and a cloud of dust" ultra-conservative yesteryear. Unfortunately, 3 yards and a cloud of dust means we end up punting on 4th and 1.

I believe the key to any winning organization is the right fit at head coach. Fortunately, Mr. Richardson was able to move in a more positive direction in 2011.

Anyone is better than Davidson, but yeah, that's a major upgrade. I'm concerned that the defense will take a big step backward this season due to the scheme change and not adding enough talent on the defensive line. As for Rivera, I think he will be a fine head coach, but Hurney has already screwed the roster for years to come.

I like the way Rivera's eyes are crossed. Must be where he knocked the snot out of someone years ago as a linebacker.

I do not think Rivera will be as good as Fox was right away. He may get there or surpass him eventually but he is learning on the job like the rest of them.

The real key for this team to be better is to have a solid QB. If Cam pans out we should be good for years to come.
