I honestly hadn't noticed Rhys was on a team? Or is this a riddle?

    Giants signed K Rhys Lloyd.
Lloyd has been purely a kickoff specialist in stints with the Panthers and Vikings. It's still possible that the Giants will sign Shayne Graham to handle field goals while Lawrence Tynes rests his bruised thigh. Aug 16 - 8:54 PM

ever wonder why teams never have the same guy kick and punt? It would save a roster spot.

Koenen did that to a point once. Sauerbrun hd for us before.

Probably better to get it right. But K, KO, P are different skills. Always wondered why ST players never learned to KO...doubt the skill is there but is the easiest of the three and the one where coverage can be most critical

Alex Henery, the guy Philadelphia drafted in the 4th round, was not only the most accurate kicker in NCAA history but also was the punter for Nebraska. Some speculated that the Eagles might have him do both, but they're just letting him kick right now.

Kicking field goals looks much harder to me than punting or kicking off. Seems like a guy who could nail a 55 yard field goal would have no trouble learning how to drop kick a football.
