Is that why he's constantly throwing off his back foot, because he's not scared of getting hit?

How will that help Cam's technique at all? How with that improve his footwork? How will that improve his throwing mechanics? How will that provide him the skill to look off a safety before coming back to his receiver? Just playing a guy for the sake of playing him doesn't do a whole lot. Yes, game action is essential for anticipating the speed of the game, for improving reaction time both physically and mentally, and for developing a rapport with teammates. But that stuff is only useful after a guy is prepared to take the field. Cam isn't, and it's very possible that rushing him out there could ruin him long-term.

Im not saying he\'s not flawed as a QB. I\'m saying mentally he\'s not gonna shut down like other Qb\'s that have the tools but have shut it down mentally and can\'t take the pressure..

I just think he has it or he doesn\'t and they should find out by putting him out there. Let him play. This team isn\'t going for a super bowl this year anyway. Let him get the experience. Maybe well have a top 10 pick next year to get him more talent/protection. Hopefully in a year or two they can be contenders.

They should have signed a veteran QB in the off season who was worth a damn and let him start the year. As it is we have two young guys who are not ready to play and one washed up guy who was never very good to start with. The Titans drafted a QB and then added Hasselbeck. That is how you are supposed to do it.

Troy Aikman was a high pick for a shitty team and started his rookie year. He turned out ok
