    Backed out of verbal agreement.

With Smitty still here, I wonder if we pursue a receiver. I wonder if ANY of our young draft picks ( Gettis, Lafell, Edwards, Pilares ) can contribute as a solid #2.

As much as I fear the answer is 'no they can't', I'm pretty certain a top WR won't be added in FA. We're committed to those picks, for better or for worse.

That's a broken fuckin' record at that position.

More comittment than in the past, too.

Stokley fits....he's a slot Coryell WR. But we put 89 there a lot, and that's where Pilares/AE seem to fit best.

This is true. But Stokely catches whats thrown at him. I'd like to have him.

Im actually really happy with where we are at WR right now. We have Smitty back, solid young talent, and some dynamic talent with LaFell, who I think will be the best of the bunch.

We have Graves and Proehl over there teaching those guys.

Im more worried about cornerback and the lines.

I'd rather see Smith play the slot at this point

I like him better out wide, but I definitely would like to see them bring him in motion.
