    how is anyone saying they're happy or excited or that it was a good move if you don't know the price paid?

    anxious to see contract and trade terms, but I'm excited we got a guy who obviously fits, and a guy who despite being in the same offense hasn't really been used right. Assuming a long term situation as a starter, and a short term splitting it with Shockey, he should have a shot at averaging about what he did in 09 with 60/600/8.

    also it's the first outside player we've acquired, along with Shockey, that has any value in like 3 years (and that was Muhammad/Brayton)

    no one's suggested it's a WR, which you never know. I like Gettis but he's worth more than we gave him at this point, the only one of the 6 we have.

    I don't see them wanting Clausen, but if it saves us a higher draft pick, whatever.
