If Richardson is so cheap, we should have traded away our 2012 1rd pick. Cam's not going to take us to the playoffs and we'll probably be picking in the top 10 again. That equals alot of money for unproven players. We could've gotten some peices in place, like the TE out of ND, Bowers, or a CB without a criminal record. We could have easily gotten a 2 and 3 from NE. This would've saved alot of money and filled holes now. At first I was glad we didn't make a trade, now I'm confused as to why we didn't. Cam will cost around 60m and if there is no rookie wage scale next year another draft pick(top 10) will be making around 40-65m, no way a 2nd+3rd round pick would cost that much, not to mention the benefit of putting more talent around a rookie qb. Even if the talent is on the other side of the ball, it would have been a good investment.

next year would conceivably have cheaper first rounders, for one, but Hurney said they weren't actively trying to get into 2.

Oh well, just looking back on the way the draft went, and there seemed to still be a lot of needed talent on the board in the 2nd and 3rd. Hell, ufa talent pool looks pretty good with Toliver, Saunders and Herzlich.

So you wanted us to get raped twice by NE for 2 players with pretty concerning injury histories. I like Rudolph alot, im a ND fan, but he had an avulsion on that ankle. It may have been a blessing in disguise. We'll see how Tampa fair with Bowers and Clayborns injury histories.

We gambled enough on knees with Hogan and Pilares as it is.

Rivera appears to have picked his guys, lets give them a chance before we bag em and tag em.

Surprised about Toliver, must be some backstory there.

    Same with the SC kid.

I cannot wait until we land next years # 1. Then we can sit back and watch the mad bidding for the rights to the Andrew Luck pick.

Yup, with our franchise QB supposedly already in the fold, and the likelihood of a rookie wage scale, the #1 pick will be more valuable than ever.

After screwing us over this year, Luck could potentially set us up with a ton of high draft picks were we to deal down from the pick.

Luck could still screw us by doing what John Elway and Eli Manning did. Teams knowing Luck would never play for us would hurt that #1 pick stock... I hate Luck...

Yet the Giants gave up several picks for Eli even after he said that.

Commissioner inacted a rare ruling forbidding teams from raping a team a second year in a row by trading for another teams 1st.
