    it takes a lot of hindsight to suggest getting Mallett. As a matter of fact you never, ever have that opportunity, and hedging on just such a thing can rape you hard.

    I liked Kaepernick, not sure if he would fit to the 3rd, and obviously didn't. What if you waited for Kaepernick, Dalton, or Ponder and then watched them all go top 40? What if you thought, like I did, that Mallett is a hardcore druggy with serious, serious accuracy issues?

    I stand behind wanting the Dareus pick, and certainly, that had to be their 1a pick given how they hammered DT.

    cannon is a big, fat lynphoma machine. I don't see how people are all over it. In a zone scheme he's useless. And we certainly don't need a young safety, IMO.

    I'm just doing our usual "redraft based on available players". I really wanted to see how different how it would be if dareus went no. 1.

    No. Cam is the Guy. I respect Collin, but I think hes more than Donavan McNabb. I am hoping for Randall Cunningham, and I believe he can be that.

    i think they would have won 2-3 sb's if philly had gotten off some fucking money for receivers 2-3 yrs before TO. they had mad cap room and didn't do shit.

    I don't think Cam was the only possible option, no. Then you go into the top of 3 with Mallett there, when you've resigned to not having a QB? I don't mind the hindsight as much as the Mallett thing makes it awkward.
    Also both us as fans and the team (Rivera said our DT play was "disastrous" last year) wanted two DTs so you still need another DT. I'd have to keep one of the two picks in there.
    A little curious they didn't take a TE.

    i took mallett to satisfy the "we're not sure about clausen" part. and i wondered if they'd need two DTs if you had dareus.

    what would your redraft be?
