Honestly, as long as he can hold the point of attack I'm pretty satisfied.

When you have Irvine and Andre Neblett as you only signed DT's on your roster, you better draft a couple of them. With your most pressing need now (hopefully) taken care of, you can focus on other positions on day 3.

Fluid moving in every direction of the field

Not the fastest DT you'll ever see run a 40 but check out those shuttle and cone times. Definately quick over a short area.

    Same with McClain BTW

Well, we had the chance for Nevis and Jerrell we'll see what this Rivera guy knows about playing DT in the NFL.

Now that weve got the DT's we need im pulling for Casey Mathews at 98 to shoot through those spaces. You know that dude just has to succeed in the NFL, he has to.

Lets go get'em and play some downhill ball.

I like the pick. I am still convinced the Panthers will go aftera DT in free agency assuming it still happens and the 2 thirds can fight it out for the other spot. All I want out of the DT is run stopping and contain so the linebackers can make plays.

This seems like a good pick at this point in the draft. We needed some DTs and now we have some. I like having a big anchor type guy at DT. Seems like most teams that are really good against the run have a guy like that.
