    I think you have to blame Hurney. All these years and never seriously addressed the future of the position.

    Trade him when the lockout ends, so we can get something for him. Per the article, his contract runs thru 2012 ( when he won't resign, and he'll be another year older).
    Plus, his public whining about Clausen ( who is a puss, but besides that..) was very low class and didn't help team morale when we needed it.

    He was a great receiver, but he's always been a prick.

    I swear, this team is never in a strong negotiating position. Ever.

    How in the hell will Carolina get anything more than a 5th for him, at this point? Fucking shit.
