Gabbert is the obvious choice (and don't draft Locker)

When has Newton's work ethic been questioned - like in reality, not like in because he did some stupid shit at 18 and is a black man.

Everything I've seen is that he's a a leader in the huddle, thrives under pressure, is a physical specimen, works before and after practice, has a great arm, and won EVERY SINGLE GAME HE STARTED.

Cons: Spotty accuracy, has never played in pro offense, limited experience in college.

I really think the WINNING thing goes underrated. See Clausen, Cutler.

That said, and it's not like it hasn't been said before, accuracy is a concern.

    Fuck Blaine. Blaaaaaaaaaaaaine. bbbbbbllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaine.

this is more general draft talk. i don't think the panthers should take a QB with the top pick.

I hope we doin't take a QB with the first pick.....if we do..i am like Gabbert over Newton. I think that Newton is going to be more trouble than he is worth. I think we need to look at WR or DT. I would even take a close look at Von Miller!

No QB is worth #1 pick this year. I like Gabbert, but its gonna take couple years for him to be ready to start for us. We need an impact player right now! I say it's down to Dareus or AJ Green

Dareus is the man. We aren't going to win more than 3 games this season (if there is a season) so we're back in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes again next year. And Newton, Gabbert etc aren't going to improve the odds of more wins than that. Let's hope Hurney doesn't go wheeling and dealing again with picks this year again.

Agree! Dareus isn't gonna sell any tickets but he's the right choice at #1

The cats are going to suck this year, it doesn`t matter who the qb is, but we can have a defense that no offense wants to play. Go dt with first pick and pick up a Ponder later on.
