    I have nothing against Rivera and I do not really mind us making a change but I think it was bad business to pull the rug out from under Fox then blame him for the bad results that followed.

    Was the rug really pulled out from under him though? It's not as if he wasnt given time to succeed or anything. I like Fox, agree in principal with the run/stop the run philosophy and didnt have a problem winning close and ugly, but the inconsistency was maddening and we have really wasted some years with some pretty solid guys. I just don't see the rug having been pulled out from under him and am curious to see what we get from the new staff.

    I can't see the rug being pulled out from under Fox other than the last season, but if you are making a change, you want to get the team/program as flexible as possible for the new staff to start making the needed changes.

    Fox has 3 winning seasons out of 9.
    This is mediocre coaching. Stop making excuses for him. His boring, conservative brand of football didn't work here.

    I don't buy the 3 out 9 winning season bullshit... he took over a 1-15 team, so the first season shouldn't reflect on Fox as a bad coach, the last two seasons, the front office clearly bailed on him... then the season with different starting 4 QBs... another leading the league with players on IR... yeah its a fact 3 out 9 seasons but its not as black & white as that... there's varibles and not all Fox
